The surprising subject of today’s compliments’ is a hair clip I bought from Dollarama 2 years ago. It’s my fave place to find unexpected things. Among these awesome finds are: biodegradable doggy bags, owl figurine given as a birthday gift, scented PINK trash bags, fake Ray Bans, and more!

Late posting about my Canada Day mini getaway but thought I’d share anyway. Had an awesome time in Niagara Falls with family and friends, but the best part of the trip was being able to have Jean-Claude with us too. For those of you who don’t know he’s our 6 month old French bulldog. Here’s some tips for bring your pup:
1. Find a pet-friendly hotel. We stayed at the Best Western Fallsview. It had FREE kenneling service and dog walks.
2. Bring a bed or crate, wherever they’ll feel most comfortable sleeping or else you’ll have a crying whining pup, trying to get into bed with you all night.
3. Pack for the weather. He overheats easily so we brought his Cool Coat, and water bottle.
4. Take lots of pictures! Or you’ll only have a few to share. 
On a rainy day like today, all I want is a glass of wine and a good soundtrack. Since I’m at work right now, I’ll settle for an awesome track.

We get subsidized chocolate at work. Not free. 50 cents a bar. If it was free, I probably wouldn’t indulge in one. But 50 cents is a steal. Yummmmmm endorphins!
First time going. Long time fan.
We brought Jean-Claude out and managed to miss the rain. Bought a lifejacket, cool coat (keeps him cool in hot weather) and pet pocket. The best time was had. Tons of cute dogs. Too bad there isn’t a Meowstock for cat-lovers.
This little guy is a Zapi. He holds my tooth brush and sanitizes it too. Oh yeah, and he’s adorable.
